How assignment works
One process, two journeys. The seller hands over a verified listing; the buyer pays the contract value. Both sides are reviewed against documents before anything goes public.
What each side actually does
Five steps per side, in order. Nothing moves to the next step until the one before it is verified.

- 3
We review and verify
Every figure is checked against the contract and receipts.
- 4
Assess assignment feasibility
We tell you if assignment actually beats cancelling.
- 5
Match buyers & complete transfer
Developer-approved transfer at the office; you are paid, the buyer continues the installments.

Short answers first
The four questions that decide most cases, answered without hedging.
- What is assignment?
- Assignment is transferring your contractual right to a new buyer at the same contract price — no overpricing. The buyer continues the installments.
- Is assignment better than cancellation?
- It depends on your contract terms. Compare the penalty for cancellation vs what you recover via assignment using our calculator — no generic 15% assumption.
- Who pays the commission?
- For My Home units: 0% — no commission at closing. For other units, the rate is shown transparently before you agree.
- Is the transfer official with the developer?
- Yes — developer-approved official transfer, not a proxy. Documents are verified before listing.
